Sara Morlock is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as well as a Licensed Addiction Counselor in the state of South Dakota. Sara earned her Master of Addiction Counseling and Prevention in 2020 and her Master of Social Work in 2023. Sara has several years of experience working with adults and adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings as well as residential, inpatient, and outpatient substance use treatment facilities. Sara utilizes many methods of evidence-based practices to include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) approaches (e.g., empowerment theory, thought reframing, mindfulness, and solution-focused). Sara aims to provide a safe space to heal, grow, and be empowered. Sara works with children, adolescents, and adults.


Sara lives in Aberdeen, SD with her husband and sweet pup, Annabelle. In her spare time, she enjoys playing guitar, painting, and camping with her family and friends. In addition to providing counseling services at NPPA, Sara also works with the “988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline” providing suicide prevention support. 


Sara is based in Aberdeen, SD and is licensed in South Dakota. She is currently supervised by Dr. Holly A. Reich, Psy.D., LP as she works towards her LCSW-PIP licensure. She is currently offering both in-office and telehealth counseling.
