LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

Adrianne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She has experience working in community mental health and nursing home settings, providing her the opportunity to work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and across different stages of life. Adrianne provides individual and family counseling for clients of all ages and is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment where clients feel heard and understood.

Adrianne works with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, personality disorders, trauma, life transitions, and other emotional and relational challenges. Recognizing that each person’s experiences and needs are unique, she draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches to individualize treatment for each client. Adrianne is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which she incorporates when appropriate to help clients process difficult or traumatic experiences and move toward healing.

As a Christian, Adrianne recognizes the important role faith and spirituality can have in the healing process. For clients who desire it, she welcomes the opportunity to incorporate Christian faith and principles into counseling in a way that is meaningful to them. Adrianne views counseling as a collaborative process and strives to meet clients where they are, providing encouragement, understanding, and practical support as they work toward healing, growth, and greater well-being.

Adrianne lives on a farm near Ipswich, South Dakota, with her husband and four children and also has a bonus daughter who is an important part of their family. In her free time, she enjoys reading, plastic canvas, spending time outdoors with her family, and being on the water during the summer. Her family is also involved with the Aberdeen Aqua Addicts Water Ski Team. Adrianne is currently supervised as she works towards her LCSW-PIP licensure. She currently offers both in-office and telehealth counseling services.
