LICENSED CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST, OWNER, & CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. Holly Reich is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the owner and clinical director of Northern Plains Psychological Associates and Crossway Christian Counseling. She earned her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2006 and doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2009. Prior to opening her private practice in 2012, she worked in a variety of clinical settings, including residential facilities, inpatient units, universities, medical centers, and outpatient clinics.
Holly’s clinical practice is now primarily focused on psychological assessment and diagnostic evaluation. She conducts a wide range of evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults, including ADHD and autism assessments, intellectual and learning evaluations, comprehensive diagnostic assessments, pre-surgical evaluations, and disability evaluations for military veterans. Her experience includes the assessment of ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, learning and cognitive concerns, and complex diagnostic presentations.
In addition to her assessment work, Holly provides clinical supervision and consultation to developing mental health professionals and is a state board-approved clinical supervisor. As owner and clinical director, she also oversees the clinical and administrative operations of Northern Plains Psychological Associates and Crossway Christian Counseling and supports the continued development of the practice and its clinicians.
Holly has extensive training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and is an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider. While she maintains a small psychotherapy caseload of clients, she is not currently accepting new clients for ongoing individual therapy.
For clients who desire it, Holly incorporates a Christian worldview into her clinical work, integrating psychological principles with biblically grounded theology and drawing from her training at Wheaton College Graduate School and Dordt University.
A veteran herself, Holly served honorably as an Air Force Captain and psychologist for four years. Her military and professional experience provides additional perspective in her work with service members, veterans, and their families.
Originally from Aberdeen, South Dakota, Holly returned home after years of education, training, and military service. She and her husband have three children and enjoy family time, church involvement, music, and spending time outdoors. She offers in-office and telehealth counseling and evaluations for clients in South Dakota.
