Since 1991, we have been honored to serve Aberdeen, SD and its surrounding communities.
How We Can Help
We offer both in-office and telehealth services. You may choose self-pay or we accept multiple private insurances, SD Medicaid, Medicare, as well as numerous EAPs. Please call with any questions about fee arrangements. We are glad to discuss your options.

What To Expect
When you contact NPPA, our staff will discuss your needs and arrange an appointment with a clinician who fits your areas of concern. We will answer any questions you may have, including information on service fees, insurance coverage, and estimated benefits. You will be asked to complete our intake paperwork, either through our online client portal or in person, depending on your preference.
During your first appointment, your clinician will review confidentiality policies and other important practice information. Your clinician will thoroughly explore your concerns, explain the services they offer, and work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals. Recommendations and any possible referrals, if appropriate, will be discussed. We are here to support and guide you every step of the way towards acheiving your goals.
Services
Individual, Family, & Couples Therapy
Clinicians at Northern Plains Psychological Associates, LLC (NPPA) provide mental health services and counseling for individuals of all ages, families, and couples. Counseling provides the opportunity to address a wide range of issues. A mental health professional will discuss various treatment options with you. Together, you will develop a plan to help resolve the immediate issues and build skills to cope with future concerns.
Psychological Assessments & Testing
Dr. Holly Reich and Dr. Darren Jilek provide psychological assessments for a wide range of problems and concerns. They evaluate children, adolescents, and adults for intellectual and learning disabilities, ADHD, and emotional and behavioral difficulties. Drs. Reich and Jilek also conduct psychological assessments for bariatric surgery, vocational rehabilitation, and disability examinations.
